I've always loved stores about transition, transformation and moving forward with new perspective, "to come into one's own". The stories I collect as a therapist have great meaning to me. They are nearly tangible, intricate objects that I can hold in my hand and turn over to investigate the nuance. I am drawn in what is seen, felt, and sensed, attentive to both the loveliness and horror that can be part of a story. I'm honored to bear witness to ideas so undiluted they are felt more than described with words. On the path to the deep places of the mind and heart I am a companion who is certain we can find the way back to a place where it's safe to feel hope and joy again.
